2022-2023 WILLIAM SCHOLARS

  Jamie Raymond​ is an undergraduate student majoring in Nutrition and was awarded the opportunity to be a CWHW Williams Scholar before completing her degree. The project that Jamie is assisting with is “Investigating Heart Rate Variability, Exercise, and Nutrition Across the Menstrual Cycle”. 

 

 

 

Alexa Villareal is an undergraduate student majoring in Public Health Education and was awarded the opportunity to be a CWHW Williams Scholar before completing her degree. The project that Alexa is assisting with is Adolescent Girls’ Physical Activity”​.

 

 

 

  Tala Najjar is an undergraduate student majoring in Public Health Education and was awarded the opportunity to be a CWHW Williams Scholar before completing her degree. The project that Tala is assisting with is “Investigating an Alternate BMI Formula”.

 

 

 

2021-2022 WILLIAM SCHOLARS

Kacey Broadus earned her BS in Public Health Education in 2022 and was awarded the opportunity to be the CWHW Williams Scholar before completing her degree. During her time as a Williams Scholar, Kacy worked on a project ” An Assessment of ACL Injuries Influenced by Hormonal Contraceptives in Female Athletes”.

 

 

Eman Carter is a junior at UNCG majoring in Kinesiology and was awarded the opportunity to be the CWHW Williams Scholar. The project that Eman assisted with is ” The Female Athlete and the Brain”.

 

 

 

MJ Cherry is a junior post-bac at UNCG majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. As a Williams Scholar, she worked on a project called ” Consequences of Multiple Sport related Head Injuries among Female Rugby Athletes”.

 

 

 

 

2020-2021 WILLIAM SCHOLARS

Kassidy DillKassidy Dill earned her BS in Kinesiology in 2021 and was awarded the opportunity to be the CWHW Williams Scholar before completing her degree. During her time as a Williams Scholar, Kassidy had the opportunity to write about Screening for Disordered Eating in Female Athletes (PDF).
