2020-2021 Interns

Belicia Badibanga earned her BS in Community Health Education in 2021 and completed her HEA 425 internship in the CWHW. During her internship, she wrote a piece on Self-Compassion: Learning to be Kind to Yourself (PDF).

 

 

 

Samara Abdul-Allah earned her BS in Community Health Education in 2021 and had the opportunity to complete her HEA 425 internship in the CWHW. During her internship, she was fortunate to write a piece on Sleep Deficiency in Women (PDF).

 

 

 

Jah’Nea Darby received her BS in Community Health Education in 2021 and completed her HEA 425 internship in the Center, where she had the opportunity to write about the Basics of Health for Young Women (PDF).

 

 

 

2021-2022 Interns

Brittany Friday was an intern for the 2021-2022 school year and had an interest in understanding the association between depression and physical activity in adolescences and emerging adults from an interdisciplinary perspective. During her time in the Center, she worked on an in-depth literature review on the topic.

 

 

 

2022-2023 Interns

Akaysia Delaney earned her BS in Public Health Education in 2023 and had the opportunity to complete her HEA 425 internship in the CWHW. During her internship, she had the opportunity to become part of the re-envisioning team that is assisting in re-invigorating the program for the advancement of girls and women in sport and physical activity (PAGWSPA).

 

 

Brianna White earned her BS in Public Health Education in 2023 and had the opportunity to complete her HEA 425 internship in the CWHW. During her internship, she had the opportunity to become part of the re-envisioning team that is assisting in re-invigorating the program for the advancement of girls and women in sport and physical activity (PAGWSPA).
