Joint Program in Social Work

Universities of NCA&T and UNCG

This directory lists a range of funding opportunities for Ph.D. students. Because the program only guarantees financial support for the first year of studies (and only for full time students), it is critical students explore additional funding opportunities.

Faculty are here to help. We can write letters of recommendation, help you develop research project ideas, and offer feedback on funding proposals. The important thing is to be proactive – don’t wait for faculty to nominate you for an award or for an opportunity to hit your inbox!
