Carmen Monico, PhD, MSW, MS with former dissertation chair Karen Robati-Casares and colleague Abu Sarhan got published a new version of an article in the Encyclopedia of Social Work on international aid, relief, and humanitarian assistance. The article discusses relevant international convention and guidance, as well as international private law. It draws from case studies of forced displacement, reconstruction and capacity building efforts in Haiti, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
