We are pleased to report that Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson (Health Disparities Researcher) was selected to participate as a Subject Matter Expert in a Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) meeting on June 26, 2018 for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  This meeting is part of a larger effort being led by CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation (DDT) to address health disparities and identify promising strategies for enrolling and retaining individuals from underserved populations in DSMES programs.
