Erin Fox

Erin Fox

Director of Advising

Erin is passionate about higher education access and advocating for holistic, strengths-based student development, serving in roles for academic coaching and success, student leadership and engagement, and orientation and first year programs.

Erin is a native North Carolinian and proud Spartan alumna; she earned both an Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at UNC Greensboro and is currently a doctoral student in Educational Leadership. In her time away from campus, Erin enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.


Julie Boyer

Julie has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and has been in higher education for most of her professional career. Before coming to UNCG, she worked at Florida State University in Tallahassee and Broward College in South Florida.

Julie has been with UNCG since 2016, serving as Lloyd International Honors College’s Coordinator of Admissions and Academic Advisor until 2021. Julie also served as Assistant Director for Academic and Personal Advising with Student Support Services in the Office of TRiO programs.

Julie has a passion for academic advising and teaching and is thrilled to be part of the HHS Advising team!

Megan Cayton is a Student Success Navigator and Instructor in the School of Health and Human Sciences with a passion for helping others find their path through mentoring and leadership experiences. She coordinates and teaches the personal development and MAC Foundations courses offered by the HHS Advising team, including HHS 125: Design Your Life 1 – What Could I Do With My Life? and HHS 135 – Design Your Life 2 – Creating Meaningful Experiences Through Coaching.

With over ten years of experience at UNCG, Megan has served in many leadership roles and capacities around campus, including coaching for the Leadership Challenge and advising the National Society of Leadership and Success. Megan also serves as adjunct faculty at NC State University teaching courses on personal and community leadership.

Jennifer Clark

Jennifer Clark is a Student Success Navigator with a passion for advising and mentoring undergraduate students. Her BS degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and MA degree in College Student Development support and inform her work with undergraduate advising and student success.

Jennifer coordinates advising processes for new incoming HHS students and serves as co-advisor for the School of Health and Human Sciences honor society, Kappa Omicron Nu (KON).

Since 2002, Jennifer has served in various roles working with diverse groups of students, both in and outside the classroom. Her instructional experience includes teaching first year experience courses, academic probation courses, and the MAC Foundations course HHS 150: Design Your Life 3 – Enhancing Personal and Academic Success.
